Sweet potato Chips : Original & Chili

Sweet potato chips are a delicious way to satisfy that potato chip craving without any of the bad stuff!  With filling fiber and lots of nutrients to fuel your body these are a must when having a get together from anything ranging from Super Bowl Sunday to birthday parties and summer BBQ’s.  All goodness and nothing bad, have as many as you like until satisfied!

 

Ingredients:

1-2 Sweet Potatoes

Salt

Chili Chips Mix:

* 1 tsp. Chili Powder

* 1/2 tsp. Coconut Sugar

* 1/4 tsp. Salt

 

Directions:

Heat oven to 400°F

Slice sweet potato into thin “discs” and place on a cookie sheet covered in parchment paper.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Place in oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.  Flip, sprinkle with Salt and Bake for another 15-20 minutes, until soft in the middle with the edges ruffling and starting the crisp.

Turn oven off and Broiler on Hi.  Leave the door cracked and broil for 2-3 minutes (potatoes should be about 3-4 inches down from coils).  Flip, sprinkle with salt and broil other side for 2-3 minutes.  These will come out crisp and chewy at the same time. *To make the Sweet Chili Chips mix chili powder, coconut sugar and salt in a bowl and replace salt with Chili Mix.
