Spicy Shooters

These bright & spicy shooters are all about health.  I got the inspiration from a micro-juicery near my work and wanted to bring this tasty treat to you.  These shooters are made from inexpensive ingredients and all you need is a shot to get the benefits.  So, make a batch and have leftovers for a couple days to keep you going strong. Turmeric is an incredibly healing root helping to calm inflammation and improve mood better than conventional drugs.  Turmeric is also helpful in combating *heartburn, liver disease, gallbladder disorders, headaches, colds, cancer, kidney disease and more!

Ingredients:

– 2 carrots

– 1 green apple

– 1/2 lemon

– 1 inch ginger root (more or less depending on how spicy you like it.  We like it very spicy, so I generally use 1-2 inches)

– 2-3 inches of turmeric root

 

Directions:

Wash and slice apple and carrots to fit in your juicer.  Peal lemon and cut in 1/2.

Juice 1 carrot, 1/2 green apple, lemon, ginger, turmeric.  Then juice the remanning 1/2 green apple and last carrot to push everything through at the end.  Store in an airtight container.
