Quinoa Flake Bake
These delicious bars are perfect for on the road. Packed full of nutrition to keep you satisfied and healthy on the go, who could ask for more! Bake these before heading out on a trip to have a healthy snack on hand at all times!
- 2 Cups Quinoa
- 1 Cup Almond Milk
- 1/2 Cup Freeze Dried Blueberries
- 1/2 Cup Date Sugar
- 1/2 cup apple sauce
- 4 Tbsp. Hemp seed
- 4 Tbsp. Chopped Almonds
- 2 Tbsp. Flax (Mixed with 6 Tbsp. warm water)
- 2 Tbsp. Almond Butter
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
In a large bowl mix together: Quinoa flakes, dried blueberries, date sugar, cinnamon, salt, chopped almonds and hemp seed.
In a separate small bowl mix together flax and water – let sit for about 3-5 minutes to make an “egg”
In another small bowl mix together almond butter, almond milk, vanilla, apple sauce. Add “egg” when ready.
Mix wet ingredients into dry. Mix well until everything is moist, but don’t over mix.
Place in pan greased with coconut oil and bake for 20-30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
