Hummus

A delicious and healthy alternative to the oil laden varieties at the store, this hummus is creamy and satisfying with less fat!  Enjoy with your favorite crackers (Mary’s Gone Crackers are our favorite) or veggies and use as a spread on wraps and sandwiches or even as a dressing for steamed or sautéd veggies.  We also make our own tortilla chips show in the images.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients

– 1, 15oz can of garbanzo beans (or 1  2/3 cup fresh made)

– 1/2 Red Bell Pepper

– Juice from 1 Lemon

– 1 tbsp. White Miso

– 2 tbsp Tahini

– 1/2 cup Water

– 1/2 Jalapeño (optional)

– 1/2 tsp. Cumin (optional)

 

Directions:
